Drawing Fundamentals Class

Our Drawing Fundamentals class is designed for young artists aged 7 and over who want to build confidence and develop strong drawing skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Each class will run for 75 minutes and runs over a 5-week-term from Monday 26th October until Monday 23rd November, held at our Maitland Art Studio.

Throughout the term, students will explore the foundations of drawing through a variety of styles, techniques and materials. They’ll learn about line, shape, form, proportion, shading, perspective, texture and observation, while experimenting with pencil, charcoal and other drawing mediums.

Each week will introduce new skills and creative challenges, helping students understand how to break down what they see and turn their ideas into finished artworks.

Perfect for beginners as well as children who already love to draw and want to improve their technique.
