Making Tables: Mini Architects
This term, our Making Tables program invites young creators to step into the exciting world of Mini Architects. Designed to spark imagination and celebrate each child’s unique ideas, this class encourages free expression through open-ended building, designing, and making.
Students will explore construction concepts using a wide variety of materials—cardboard, wood pieces, loose parts, recycled treasures, and more—learning to plan, problem-solve, and bring their inventive structures to life. With guidance rather than strict instructions, children are empowered to follow their curiosity, collaborate with peers, and build confidence in their creative choices.
Perfect for students in Kindergarten to Year 6, Making Tables nurtures creativity, independence, and a love of hands-on making. This term is all about dreaming big, thinking boldly, and discovering the joy of designing as a Mini Architect.
