"Mini Master Chefs of Art"

Sensory art for the 3-9-year-old child is about encouraging their imagination and nurturing their creativity. Sensory Art class for HVGS Students involves activities that kids can squish, squelch, spin, splash, and squeeze, children absolutely delight in exploring their world through their senses. Sensory play is a play that stimulates any of a child’s senses – has an important role in a child’s health and development.

Days/Times: Monday and Wednesday, 3:15–4:15 PM
Location: STEM Room, Weekes Library
Start Date: Monday, 3rd February
Term Length: 9 weeks

This term will feature art and sensory play around favorite foods, including:

• Paper mache apples
• Giant cardboard cakes
• Ice cream paintings
